Five Technology startups to keep an eye on in 2024

Advancements in science and technology are happening at such a fast pace that it is hard to keep up with them all. This has resulted in tech startups popping up left and right all around the world and it is difficult to differentiate between the legit and phony ones.

That is why we have compiled a list of five tech startups which making great strides in different areas of technology and not only are innovative but also help ease up our lives and help the environment at the same time.

Northvolt

Northvolt is a Swedish startup that was founded by former Tesla executives in 2015. It specializes in creating sustainable batteries using Lithium-ion technology. It established its first manufacturing plant in 2021 in Sweden and is already manufacturing batteries.

Its customers include the likes of BMW, Goldman Sachs and Volkswagen. It also hopes to open more manufacturing plants across Europe and America as well as increase its presence in Asia to challenge the dominance of Nissan and Toyota.

Serve Robotics

The role of robots and drones in the delivery industry is gradually increasing and one of the biggest players in making this happen is Serve Robotics. This startup was founded in 2017 by the delivery service Postmates.

It has since been bought by Uber and is headquartered in Los Angeles, California. It aims to make the delivery service more sustainable and cost-effective by relying more on drones and less on cars, which is also very good for the environment.

Brinter

Brinter is a Biotech startup from North Carolina that was founded in 2020 and is making headway in the pharmaceutical industry. It specializes in 3D printing biotech that helps understand how disease works and how new drugs can be created to counter it.

It is working on developing Biomods otherwise known as regenerative medicine that will greatly change the medical scene and will reduce the need for traditional surgeries and orthopedics.

Flyfin

AMP is a tech started that was founded in 2015 and is headquartered in Colorado, US. What AMP is doing is not only innovative but noble as well as it is using artificial intelligence to reduce waste and improve the process of recycling, with the ultimate goal of zero waste production.

It has already started functioning in Asia, North America, and Europe and is helping companies reduce their waste output as well as their recycling costs, all with the help of AI. Not only that but it is making recycling more efficient by increasing resource recovery from the waste.
