He may not be leading by a huge margin but it is certainly a piece of good news for Donald Trump and a point of concern for President Biden. A new poll conducted by USA Today and Suffolk University has Donald Trump at 40 points and Joe Biden at 38 points.
For those supporting Donald Trump best not to celebrate too early as 25% of the people who were polled, said that they may still change their vote, and considering there is still some time before the elections happen, nothing is out of possibility.
Of those who were still unsettled as to whom they will vote for 15% of them were Trump voters, while 14% were supporting Biden. Another group that doesn’t like either of the candidates polled as 44% supporting third-party candidates, with 25% supporting Trump and 18% Biden. (Susan Page, 2024)
There is still a lot of campaigning ahead and both sides will do their best to sure up their support and gather the undecided to their side. President Biden has certainly gained some momentum after his State of the Union address, as it certainly showed in the campaign donations he received.
As for Former President Trump, he is on an up and up with three more charges against him dismissed by a judge in Georgia, and the cases against him not looking to go anywhere before the elections. Not to mention how he has all but locked the Republican party nomination.
