August is going to be a great month for Nintendo fans everywhere, as Nintendo has announced the release of a strong lineup of games for the Nintendo Switch 2. This lineup includes many of the classics and fan favorites, like GRADIUS ORIGINS, as well as 18 classic arcade shooters, in addition to a new title called Salamander III.
Two more major games that are set to release on August 14 are EA SPORTS Madden NFL 26 and Drag x Drive. Madden NFL 26 will be the first Madden game on a Nintendo console in over a decade, and to mark the occasion, it comes with new, updated NFL rosters and next-gen gameplay, especially designed for the Switch 2 console. As for Drag x Drive, it is a new and unique motion-controlled wheelchair basketball game made exclusively for Nintendo Switch 2.
The end of August will be marked with the release of Kirby and the Forgotten Land – Switch 2 Edition on 28 August. With the addition of extended Mouthful Mode segments and a new expansion, there will be a lot of new content for the fans of the game. Finally, on the 29th of August, SHINOBI: Art of Vengeance will be released, which is a fast-paced action platformer with stylish ninja combat and part of a successful franchise.
