The Capital Smart City is one of the few housing society projects that is currently in the interest of every real estate investor in both Islamabad and Rawalpindi. This housing scheme is currently under development and is still in its early stages and the official launch date of this project is predicted to be soon. The original launch date for this project was formerly disclosed to be the 26th of September in 2018. However, due to some undecided arrangements on some of the intriguing details of the project which were in the completion stages, the launch date has been further extended.

Where is the Smart City located?
This project is located along the Lahore- Islamabad Motorway and is only 7 minutes away from the New Islamabad International Airport. This project is also near Chakri Road and Thalian Road, making it only 22 minutes from the twin cities’ main centers.
As of now, the developers of this project had paused any new bookings for the project until its official date is released to investors and the public. This is an indication that the project’s launch date will be announced soon. While the official launch for this project is yet to be announced, the plot files are already being resold. The realtors that the society has assigned and those who are working in this area of the city are keeping a close eye on the market value of this project, so they can make the judgment of the true potential of this project. It is also expected that the market value of the plots will certainly increase with time after the initial launch of the Smart City.
Ever since the project’s soft launch, the demand for some of the plots has increased with time. As with each small-scale housing society project, it is always the case that the smaller plots are in high demand as compared to the bigger ones. All 5 Marla plots have been sold except for just a handful of 7 Marla, 10 Marla 12 Marla, 1 Kanal, and 2 Kanal plots available. Bookings for these residential plots is currently open and plots can be booked both by visiting the location or online.
Residential Plot bookings
Due to the society’s success rate, there are only a few blocks that are still taking bookings for the residential plots. And although the bookings are open, most of the plots have been sold out. According to the Capital Smart City Developers, the bookings for the Overseas Block, Harmony Park Block, and the Smart Villas are closed. Bookings for residential plots of 5 Marlas, 7 Marlas, 10 Marlas, 12 Marlas, 1 Kanal, and 2 Kanals are currently open for the time being. In terms of commercial plots, only 4 marlas, 6 marlas, and 8 marlas plots are available for bookings. Lastly, Treville’s Smart Home Block has bookings open for the 5 marlas and 10 marlas residential plots.
Payment Plans for the Plots
The Smart City project is currently offering 5% off on all their residential and commercial plots on a 50% down payment and 10% off on a 100% down payment. Trivelle’s Smart house residential plots are also on a 5% discount on a 100% Down payment and 2.5% off on a 50% down payment. 5 marla residential plots are available from 2,415,000/- PKR with a 10% down payment, while 4 marlas commercial plots are available from 10,530,000/- PKR. A 36-month installments plan is available for all plot bookings.
The Smart City Project is also providing all its investors the opportunity to make plot bookings online through their e-portal. Realtors can also book their residential or commercial plots through the Smart City Project’s mobile app. With the launch of their e-portal and the mobile app, it has become even easier to make plot bookings as this allows realtors to see for themselves which plots are available and which are not.
