Samoa is a small island nation that is located in the central South Pacific Ocean. The Extreme Points in Samoa

The furthest point to the north of the country is the most extreme point globally, and this point is located at latitude of 13°25′ S. This place is to the south of the equator. The village that is farthest to the north is Fagamalo, which is on the island of Savaii. But to the south, the farthest point is 14°04′ S, and it’s on the island of Nuulua. On the western side, the farthest point in Samoa lies at 172° 48′ W, which is an area of the larger Gaga’ifomauga District of Samoa. If you look in the opposite direction, the extreme point lies at 171°20′ W. and comes second to Tonga as the most extreme point that has ever been documented.

Total Area and Population Size 

As per statistical figures that were available in 2018, Samoa has 198,283 people. The total area is 2,831 km². This is the area that is within the confines of the country’s foundries.
