How to add custom free ringtones to iPhone?

Date:

The iPhone has been around for years and there is no easy way to load custom ringtones into your library, but it is possible. If you don’t want to use or buy the ringtones already on your iPhone, make your free ringtones with Klingeltöne.

This process has changed slightly in Ringtones 12.7. Ringtones that were previously available on iPhone have been removed, but you can still manually download ringtones to your phone. All ringtones downloaded from Free Ringtones can be found in C.

Step 1: Get Free ringtones from Ringtones

Newer iPhone users usually do not need to download other ringtones, but do download them to use their ringtones. You need to install free Apple Ringtones on your Windows PC. Ringtones is already installed on your Mac and you can start using them right away. This process works on both Windows PCs and Macs.

The steps in this article will also work if you are using Ringtones or

an older version of macOS that includes Ringtones.

Step 2: Select Audio File

Of course, if you want to convert an audio or video clip and use it as a ringtone, you will need an audio or video clip. Everyone has an idea that they want to use as a ringtone. If you’re not sure, go to Google and find what you’re looking for.

The length of the selected ringtone file cannot exceed 40 seconds. The Ringtones refuses to use the ringtone on your iPhone for more than 40 seconds.

If you need a file longer than 40 seconds, you can use an audio editor to cut out the required part of the file. You can use any audio editor. For editing sound files, I recommend a simple tool called mp3cut.net. Go to the website, click the Open button and select the file you want to edit. You can also select a video file from which to extract audio.

Now select the part of the audio or video file you want to use and click the “Cut” button.

If you are using and, you can download audio clips to your computer. This is the file you should get as a Ringtones.

Step 3. Convert MP3 to AAC

Once the download is complete, the file will be in MP3 format. To use it as a ringtone, you need to convert it to an AAC file. If you are already using the AAC format, you can skip this part.

First, add sound files to free ringtones and find them in your library. To do this yourself, either copy the file or drag and drop it into the Ringtones library. Then go to Library > Songs to see the files in the file.

kkkkkkk

Select a sound file from the list of Ringtones and click File > Convert > Create AAC Version.

Step 4: Rename AAC File The

Ringtones Library ends with two audio files: a new AAC file and an original MP3 file.

For the record, right-click on the file source header and enable the Type column. The new column type indicates which is which file.

“MPEG Audio File” is the original MP3 file and “AAC Audio File” is the new AAC file. You can right-click on the MPEG file and remove it from the Ringtones library.

You will have the file as an AAC audio file. However, you need to change the file extension for Ringtones to recognize it as a ringtone file.

First, drag the AAC file from the Ringtones library to your desktop or another folder on your PC or Mac.

AAC audio files with extension .m4a are now created. However, you need to change the extension to .m4r. For example, you need to change the file song.m4a to song.m4r.

Step 5. Send audio ringtone files to phones

Connect your iPhone to your PC or Mac using the same cable, USB-Lightning cable you used to charge your iPhone. Click the Trust button if you haven’t connected your iPhone to Ringtones on that PC or Mac after unlocking your iPhone. You must enter a PIN.

In the Ringtones section, click the device icon to the left of Library in the navigation bar.

Click the Sound section under Devices in the left sidebar.

Drag the ringtone file from the.m4r folder to the tone section of Ringtones.

Ringtones.

It will sync your ringtones to your phone and will immediately appear here below

Sounds list.

Step 6: Choose Ringtone

You can now grab your iPhone and choose your ringtone by going to Settings > Sound & Tactile > Ringtone. All custom ringtones are displayed at the top of the list.

You can also choose a specific ringtone for a specific contact and know who is calling simply by the tone. To remove the ringtone, reconnect your phone to the free ringtone and return to > tones on your device. Remove the tone by right-clicking on the heading of ringtone in device or phone and selecting Remove from Library.
